How One Of The Richest Lagos Yahoo Boys Landed In Prison.

      'Yahoo' is famously known to mean 'Internet Fraud' in Nigeria. Some of this yahoo boys have amassed so much wealth and they are known for their lavish spending lifestyle. An average yahoo boy can walk up to the VIP section of an A-List club and buy all the expensive drinks.
        Yahoo boys are famously known to buy expensive cars, travel around the world and live in expensive mansions.
         Hope Olusegun Aroke aka H-money was a very rich internet fraudster. He had made so much money and even lived his dreams. He had expensive cars which included his G-Wagon and C300 4matic. He had been seen balling with several celebrities and they even sang his praises. The 25 year old was a student at Kualar-Lumpur University, Malaysia. He was arraigned by the Economic and financial crimes commission (EFCC) on a two count charge for obtaining money by false pretence, cheque cloning, wire transfer and forgery. The court found him guilty of the two charges and sentenced him to 12 years imprisonment on each of the two counts.

       Trouble came for H-money when an anonymous petitioner wrote to the EFCC alleging that the Kogi-born undergraduate was involved in online fraudulent activities. The EFCC investigated the internet dealings of H-money.
        Investigations showed that he was involved in several romance scam that fetched him N25million. H-money admitted sending money to Nigeria through his picker identified as Angela, who helped him deposit money in the bank.
